Colored Chalkboard Paint

Hudson Paint is the brainchild of decorative painter Arno Cornillion.

His idea of developing a color chalkboard paint has been three years in the making. “It started with a client asking for an orange chalkboard,” Arno explains, “which I was surprised to find didn’t already exist.”

The response from friends, clients and local craft fairs was overwhelming. And Hudson Paint was born. Today it is mixed at a family-owned paint manufacturer in the Hudson Valley.

Hudson Paint’s Color Chalkboard Paint liberates chalkboards from black and green. It has inspired colorful mudrooms, kitchens, restaurants and bedroom walls parents encourage children to write on!
